Location for say Meet

Ok people as theres starting to get a few people on here now, how about strtin gto think about locations for a regular meet, I would probably 1 a month with little sub meets for the hard core in us.

I know it depends on where people live.

However I would have thought poole/bournemouth is quite central

what are the thoughts among us then?

i think the area reps can arrange one for their areas once a month....

makes it easy Smile

Sounds like a plan, area reps will sort out area meets, but a bigger meet would really help boost the sites profile. Up north you say!!!

maybe a poll woud be a good idea for this??

Matchams on a Wednesday is usually alright

wont be able to do that lol , as get home at 6 then and hour and half at least with traffic Sad

Woh woh woh lol.... I am ALL up for meets yeah, but there is a few underlining problems we need to realise..

1) Not many of us actually live in or near dorset..
2) If the reps arrange a meet in their area once a month its going to get very expensive, as some are in scotland, some in brighton, some in cornwal..etc you get me?

So yeah..im up for meets but think about the statistics, it will be rare that 90% can turn up because you all live quite out the way, which means the meets will have about 5 people lol. and atm I really cannot afford trips all over the world once a month.

Trust me I gave this thought before I even opened the site, and I failed miserably at coming up with solutions, I think a meet to further from dorset areas once ever 3 months isnt so bad..maybe 2, but based on the fact Im only on £80 a week at my job, I really cannot afford to pay petrol when I have driving lessons to pay @ £36 a time, and a contract phone from today onwards aswell.

I will have a talk with Pete and see what I can magic up, but thanks alot guys for bringing this up, nice to see people keen

hun when i said reps arrange local meets... i was on about for their local memebrs as thats what PIH do!!

you should have a main one near the admin but i would like to add untill be get a better following meets will be pointless....

how long ur driving lessons last that seems expensive @ £36 a lesson

Yeah they are 2 hours long, works out £18 a lesson

for an hour in cornwall your looking at £20+
and thats just an hour at the min rate for a crappy driver

so u want me to arange something for swindon area as not too far from bournemouth and hour n half ish

As soon as I have the site .com and I have stickers then yeah would be good, perhaps somewhere in the middle so its fair for both ends?

can we go up north a bit ? like sailsbury ? or a bit lower down ?
